What is the VPK Program?
VPK offers prekindergarten to children who are 4 years old or older before or on the first day at school of the current year. Parents can decide whether to enroll their children in the current year or wait until they turn 5 the following school year.
Enrollment Requirements
The following documents are required to register your child in the Voluntary Kindergarten Program (VPK).
- Proof of Florida residency: A recent pay-stub, an official photo ID, or a current utility bill will all suffice.
- Use a birth certificate or passport to prove the age of your child.
